When I built my first workbench shown below, I did not anticipate that I would lose the work surface to my CNC router. Of course, this meant that I needed another workbench. The first workbench was extremely heavy when loaded up with materials, making it almost impossible to move without a lot of effort. I consequently designed the second workbench to circumvent this problem as described in this write-up. Pictures of the new (2nd) workbench are shown in the left-hand column.
